Hello:)

Hi Ladies,
This has been a busy week for me:) Here are a few pictures of what I have been working on:
The floral square is the center for a quilt for me. It is from Crabapple Hill's Susan's Dresden Garden.
The snowman is a BOM I am signed up with Quiltin Country from Bunny Hill.
And the bluebonnet square is the beginning of a tabletopper that I took as a workshop yesterday from Winnie Fleming through the Temple Quilt Guild. Only 5 more borders to add:)

Lou's Star Quilt

Found this pattern in Conroe Texas on my first all by myself trip:)
I used fabrics in my stash and quilted it with a pantograph with loops and stars:)

Lou's Mary, Mary Quite Contrary

This is just the top haven't quilted it yet:(
It is another Crabapple Hill design. My daughter gave me the pattern for Christmas a few years ago:) Once again there was coloring, handstitching , piecing and sewing and one day quilting:)

Lou's Halloween Quilt

This is another Crabapple Hill Pattern. I am usually not a big Halloween person but fell in love with the antique trick or treating buckets and had to make it:) There is once again coloring, handwork, sewing and quilting:)

Lou's Crabapple Hill Christmas Quilt

Had a blast making this quilt! I got to color, heat set, hand embroider, bead, and even sew and quilt:) It has EVERY thing that I love in it!!!!

Lou's Charm Squres Bluebonnet Quilt

This is Dot's fault:) hahaha!!! I quilted one for her and then had to make one too:)

Lou's Bird On A Wire

This is just a fun strip quilt! I found all the fabric at Connecting Threads:) The pattern is from a little shop in Lafayette, LA called Bourne Quilter.

My Thanksgiving Quilt

I collected this fabric on my first "all by myself road trip." I stopped at all the quilt shoppes on the way from Copperas Cove, TX to McNeill, Ms and then on to Daytona Beach, Fl. Was a lot of fun!!!!

It is hand embroidered and is a Crabapple Hill design.

Lou's Oriental

I made this oriental a few years ago. I got to use a lot of my oriental fabric stash. I never was really interested in Asian fabrics but then my daughter got to spend 3 years in Japan and she sent me some of the silks and I was hooked:) Of course i haven't cut teh silks and probably never will but I have them:)

Longhorn quilts

I made 3 Texas Longhorn quilts as gifts in 2010. They are the same except the border fabrcis. Yes I did get to keep one:)

Lois's Scrap Quilt

Lois is owner of Nedlewerkes in Copperas Cove and I am a good customer of hers:) She sells everything needlepoint, hand embroidery, cross stitch and crewel work. An Awesome store!
Well to her quilt....she has had it laying aorund for awhile and finally ran across it again and I got to quilt it:) I used a feather pantograph on the borders....still can't get them freehand:( Then did a design in each open square and stippled the blocks made of squares:) Turned out lovely!!!

This past weekend .....

Hi All:)
I have been a sewing maniac this past weekend:) hahaha!!!
I am working on a dresden plate quilt with lots of hand embroidery by Crabapple Hill and also made the first block in the BOM called Merry Merry Snowman by Bunny Hill and I get the blocks out of the local quilt store Quilt'n Country.
I will post some pics whenever I can find the camera again:)
Here are a few pics of past quilting adventures.

Leigh and Monica's Boot Scootin Quilts

This is just a piece of fabric with borders:) Great idea!!!
I quilted all around each boot and stars and floral sprays with black thread and used loops to get from one place to another:)
I quilted one for each of the gals:)

Lori Beth's Hanukkah table runner

Pat and I saw this design at a quilt show a few years back and between the 2 of us we got it figured out:) Turned out really nice! Pat didn't take any pics after the binding was put on:(

Lori Beth sent me thses pictures of the finished tablerunner this moring:) Thanks LB!!!!

Karin's Stained Glass Panel quilt

Karin is a knitter not a quilter so she commissioned me to make her this lovely quilt:) We bought all the fabric in Salado last year and I finally got it finished:)
There are 6 panels sewn together and then the borders to make it queen size:) Lots of scroll and outline quilting!
Just turned out beautiful!!!!!
