Well had an awesome weekend in San Antonio Texas!!!! Went for the Winter Jam 2012 concert but went ahead and spent the weekend:) Hubby and I hadn't been anywhere is along time on our own and not in San Antonio for about 20+years. still love it!!!!
The view from our room at the St Anthony on Travis.
A beautiful church!
This is a glass sculpture that was hanging in a hotel on the river walk....I think it was the Hilton or Hyatt ...there were 6 waterfalls as you walk through the hotel and you end up at the front of the Alamo.
The Alamo at night.
Beautiful field of flowers on the way home.
Me in the bluebonnets.

March 22
Ok just noticed it has been almost 2 weeks since I have posted. But I have been busy:)
I have been quilting Marylyn's Stitchers Garden quilt and it was on the frame for a week....no didn't quilt on it everyday. Life got in the way. It is finished and shown below:) she did an awesome job on it!!!! She even made yoyo's for it......love it!!!!!!!! It is a fun quilt to quilt for me because I get to play in all the borders!
Ok back to life. Was heading to my first new "bee" mtg and got a flat:( So had to replace 2 front tires. Didn't make it to the mtg:(
This week we were lucky enough to get rain.... 6 inches of it in about 24 hours. Needless to say the studio got watered too:( So I had to suck 2 1/2 steam cleaner buckets of water out of the carpet.....no major damages. The cabinets and bookcase has a little water damage on the bottom. Thank God as I was locking up for the day I put the batting roll on the quilter as it would of been damaged! I am getting to where I put everything up that is close to the front of the bldg just in case:)
Then yesterday I had to have the oldest of my cats put to sleep. She was getting VERY ill and at 18 I wasn't going to go to extreme measures:( So then to deal with the depression I quilted:) I had 4 baby quilts to do and got 3 done:) Also one got bound. I usually don't take pics of those unless they are extrordinary! So today I am catching up on my sewing...I am working on a Pumpkin BOM, a snowman BOM, and a row quilt swap. That should keep me out of trouble today:)
Loop Meandered this Civil War colored Flimm Flamm quilt for Sandra. Love the colors!
Great yoyo in this pic!
Love all the little border places to play!
Redwork Easter from Bird Brain Designs. Yup all hand stitched and hubby painted the frame for me:)
This is Crabapple Hill new design " All My Eggs in One Basket". All handstitched and colored:)
These are tealights from Embroidery Garden and stitched out on the embroidery machine.
This is a Crabapple Hill design also. It is her Spring pillow pattern. Yes once again all hand stitched. The green leaves are felted wool. Sure is purty!
This is my ride:) Madeline Has a new decoration on her door:) She is spiffy now and advertising for me!

March 10th
What a rainy few days:) We SO SO need it!
I got my Bluebonnet Wallhanging quilted yesterday and bound:)
I outlined the bluebonnets in the outer border and then did different sized loops in the dark blue borders. You can see the center star with it's doodles:)
Now on to the next projects:)

Marylyn's Texas Proud Quilt
She machine appliqued the whole quilt. I did mine all by hand and they both turned out beautiful!!!!! A true Heirloom!

March 6th
This is the quilt I quilted yetserday for a customer. It is a Flimm Flamm pattern using Civil War reproduction fabrics. All she wanted was Loop Meander quilting all over it. Love the colors!!!
I am also posting a picture of the 32 yds of fleece I got in today to cut, punch, and then crochet around for Project Linus. I usually buy a bunch when they are on sale and that holds me through the year:) Year before last I donated 106 fleece blankets. Of course now with the business I can't make that many but every little bit helps:)

Okay where did Feb go??? Here we are in March and I was planning for Easter and then remembered it's my Gdaughters First Bday so have been busy making a few things for her:) It sure sneeks up on us!
I have been working on a few things...
I put the binding on a cutomers antique quilt, Finished the top for the wallhanging class I took..now just to get quilted:), finally finished quilting the10 Quilts Beyond Borders Quilts. Pat did the binding and then I shipped them out, these will be traveling to Burundi in June. I have 10 more tops and backs heading to me to quilt:)
And the last pic is of my teenage cat Waldo posing on the fireplace with the Texas themed items behind him. I alsways decorate with Texas stuff in March because March 2 is our independence day:) Yehaw!!!!

Bought this pattern and fabric on a road trip to MS to see my daughter. The baskets and border are all handstitched. One of my favorites!
