May has arrived!

Hi All,

So how is everybody doing so far? It seemed like April had way more than 30 days didn't it? Oh well we will persevere!

We have been busy quilting all week:)  So nothing much different here:)

Hubby did take me for a ride in his 56 on Thursday for over an hour. Was really nice! Of course no AC but that was okay till later in the day when the pollens attacked us both:( UGH! Yes we were pretty useless on Friday. Will have to remember to double up on meds next time... or I could wear my mask:) LOL!

The BIG news is my daughter graduated from The Ohio State last night:) YEA!!! It was a virtual graduation but actually I think we liked it better than the actual graduation as it was very personal. There were only 24 students in her degree program and they each got recognized:)

Here are the 2 screen shots of her information. She is the second camera on the right:)

They also recognized her military service:) We are SO SO proud of her!!!
We shipped her Featherweight out on Monday and she opened it on Friday:) She was very surprised and happy:) She had forgotten that she told me she wanted one:) Surprise!

This is Shaleem's last custom quilt.

I went kinda graffiti on it:) Lots of fun!

Really looks awesome if I do say so:)

Mostly freehand and some ruler work.

Looks awesome on the back also:)

Mary from Allen made this dragonfly quilt for her sister.

There are lots of dragonflies!!!!!

We used an E2E design with a teal thread.
Already shipped and back with her:)

Remember the leftover parts quilt? Well it is all done!

Got it quilted yesterday and bound while watching the graduation:)

This is what's on the design wall right now. Sorry can't get it to turn the right way. I have been stitching the blocks in between other projects trying to use up my Civil War reproduction fabrics.
I need to add sashings, cornerstones, and a border still. It will be a chemo quilt. I am planning on sewing fat quarters together for the backing.

Forgot to tell you Frolic is quilted and the binding is waiting for my hand sewing:) YEA!!! Should be posted next time!

Our Gov has opened up some stores and restaurants for 25% capacity but we are just staying in anyway!
Take care and stay well!
