Heater this week :)

With our ever changing weather we went from AC right to Heater... don't think it was the same day but it could of been:) If you don't like the weather just wait a day or 2:) haha!!!

How is everybody doing with the time change? I am loving it!!! I have started walking again:) The last time I went walking was when  fell:( I am VERY careful!!! Nice to get out!

Had lunch bunch this week and my teeth are nice and shiny again:) yea! Other then that I got a lot of quilting done!!!

First up is one of Nancy's Wolf panels,,, this one is for her daughter.

I did a panto called Deb's Swirls with a gray thread.

Love how it turned out!

Wolf #2 for son in law.

Black thread this time.

I really liked how it turned out and so did she:) Wold #3 is getting started on tomorrow but no panto this time... custom.

Lenore is a new customer and we just kept is simple with loop meaner on this one.

I use black thread.

Love the quilting on the red backing!

Jill made this Aggie quilt for her son in law:)

Just loops all over in the maroon thread.

Dazi was not too happy quilting this one esp since she is a Longhorn fan:)

The Project Linus pile has been yelling a bit so I got all but one done:)

Just loops allover.

Another one I made..

More loops:)
Pat will put the binding on for me:)

Kathy J made this one for donation.

More lovely loops:)

They had to use an ugly backing:) I kinda liked it:)

My chemo panel quilt.
So glad I cut it up and made it a window:)

I loved the backing fabric they put in the kit.
More loops:)

This is the Millefore layout. I am writing the colors I am picking so I don't get them close together.

The pink #2 rosette is all made just needs to be sewn together.
My design wall.
Me before one of the walks... it was SO cold and windy on Wed that I knew I would need to get a hat... I do not like hats!.... found this cute headband style that looked like a kitty so you know I had to have it!!! When I walked on Friday ti was almost to warm to wear it but I did:)

Will be a busy week this week so hoping to get a little quilting done!
have an awesome week!!!

Ac on again:) haha!!!

Well true to form the temperature has changed:) It was in the 50's last weekend and upper 80's this weekend... we even set a new record high on Thursday of 91??? WOW!!! Wonder if we are the only state that has the AC and Heater on at the same time??? I think we had the ac on last year at Christmas:)

Busy week here.... lots of quilting and of course we had Bee this week:) I only need 40 more blocks for my shirt quilt:) yea!!!

So here are the pics:

First up is Mary's Round Robin. We did these last year where the technique was selected and you did your own row:) This way you get a quilt you love:) Mary out did herself!

There was piecing, applique, paper piecing, embroidery, and embellishing.

Was fun to do and every one was so unique! Mary's was fun to quilt because each row was different:) Keeps me very interested! I did a lot of ruler work and curlz:)

She had a scrappy backing which is always my fav:)

Brenda made 2 Sunbonnet Sue quilts for her nieces.

Great job using all those 30's fabrics!

Love the backing!

Notice they are facing opposite? Great idea!

I quilted swirls, curls and some ruler work:)

Same backing... don't want anybody mad if they are different:) haha!!

She also made this blue quilt. It was a kit she had bought from a now closed local shop a few years back.

I love all the blues!!! Just loop meander all over... way too busy for anything else!

Great backing!!!

Found this design on Urban Threads and had to have it! I made this towel for my daughter... it was a saying we had when she was growing up... can you get it? Guess What Chicken Butt? haha!!!

Another Bee block finished... the next one is very detailed so will take awhile plus I am working on the next 3 Spargo birds... they are red:)

Only 1 more round to go on this rosette:)
Wonder what the dominate color will be for the next one????

Did not go to Houston this year:( But had quite a few friends go:) There is always next year:)

Have an awesome week!!!!

BRRRR!!!!

I am not a big fan of 30 degree drops in temp! It was a lovely 85 on Thursday and then bam! 50 on Friday:( We had a light frost last night... Buster did decide to come in Friday night and had been in until I out him out for the afternoon today:) The sun is really nice for them to bask in! Bob is in the other chair:)

Busy quilting week:) Down to 10 to get done by Christmas:) That is doable!
On with the pics!

This is Dot's Ornament quilt:)

I have quilted one before but for Martha:)

Turned out so good! And it's fun to have to figure out what to quilt as you roll the quilt along:) Never a dull moment!

Love the way it turned out!

I have another Christmas one on the frame but am only halfway done with it so you will have to wait until next time to see it:)

2 more Bee blocks finished:)

Had Bee on Friday so I am now up to 30 blocks finished... only and I am saying that with sarcasm...50 more to go!

#2 Spargo bird is all done also:)
#3 will be done when I can figure out how to do the Buillion knot again:) Funny how you can forget things so quickly!!

Suppose to have a warm up and then another cool down this week... we fired up the heater and it still works but need to get the whole unit replaced before the year is over! It is probably 30 years or more old now... I know we have truly been lucky!I just hate to make the call but will and soon!

All the furbabies are doing well and so am I:)
Have a rgeat week!

Another cool front and we got rain:)

The front came through early this morning and we got an inch of rain:) Wash those pollens!!!

Have had the AC off most of the week with the windows open:) Yes pollen but live tv for kitties:) They just LOVE it!!!

Talking about Kitties... Buster is home:) The pound called me Monday morning and they had him. They had picked him up at Whataburger ... over 2.5 miles from the house???? We really think someone picked him up and took him. Hubby bailed him out:) There was a kid walking down the cement drainage ditch behind our house and Buster starting freaking out trying to find a place to hid:( Poor dude!!! He is staying ion the backyard all the time now:)

I got some quilting done even though I had one day less due to Hubby taking Monday off... yes he did have a great time at the NHRA drag races in Ennis:)

Here is what I got done:)

Ruth Ellen made this amazing quilt! The 3D effect is just something else!!!

She wanted lines on the bow... I kept the middle of the knot unquilted so it popped:)

Lots and lots of curlz!!!!

Margaret made this quilt with her scraps:)

Couldn't just do something simple all over so the ruler went to work:)

Love how it turned out!!!

Nancy made this log cabin for her Mom for Christmas:)

I did the Featherization panto all over in a cream thread:)

Love how it turned out!!!

I finished up the PL I was working on:) Just needs a back and finishing:)

Another Bee block embroidered.... thought I would never get done with all those hexies:)

Round 2 on Rosette #2... Round 3 is in the works:) Yes this one will be pinks:)

I ordered a Jen Kingwell book and pattern... I really need more things to do:) haha!!!

More up and down weather this week and I am home 3 days so more quilting to be done:)

Thank you for all the prayers and emails about Buster:) It helped:)
Have an awesome week!!!
