Hi All,
Hope June has arrived with great weather! Our has been unusually rainy but I will not complain!
Was home a lot this week but still need 1 more day to finish the king size quilt...I think it has grown to oversized king:) LOL!!!
Hubby and headed to Clifton on Friday to take my quilts for the Clifton Show on June 14 and 15. While we were there we made a day out of it. It is only an hour drive through the country so was enjoyable:) We dropped off the quilts, then went to Bosque Museum. That is truly a must do when you are in Clifton! Then to Bunkhouse BBQ for lunch. Hubby said he would drive the hour for their ribs:) They were yummy! Then to the Clifton Classic Car Museum. Lovely place with about 30 cars and lots of antique memorabilia. Then to 2 antique shops and then back home. made for a lovely day!
Yesterday was yard work day... with all the rain it really needed to be done! And today we repaired the hole in the ceiling from where the ceiling fan in the kitchen originally was. Nice not to see a hole anymore:) LOL!
I did get some more of my Pfeffernusse string blocks made so am ready to start sewing the white and grey ones together and then all the lovely half square triangles.....
La Passion is starting to get her 61 small flowers attached. Slow going but steady:)
Home again 3 days this week so am hoping to get the quilt done and a small one:)
Sorry no pictures today but there will be lots next week!
Have an awesome week!

Bought this pattern and fabric on a road trip to MS to see my daughter. The baskets and border are all handstitched. One of my favorites!
