A little under the weather today. Sinus headache due to them darn allergies:(
I did get the quilt finished and she loved it:)
Our gas was turned off on Thursday because of some major problem Atmos Gas Co had. There were restaurants, schools, hotels, and residents affected. We got it back on Friday evening. Some didn't get theirs back on until yesterday. They had employees orm as far away as Sherman...that's where our guy was from..to help with the turning on of the gas. He came in and lit the stove, water heater, and heater unit. He was a nice guy that owns a cat:)
Also had Bee this week and worked more on Clue 7 of Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt.
A good rainstorm came through and we got almost 3 in of rain:) Needed it!
Spent most of yesterday doing our taxes...SO glad that is done!
That's about all from here this week...hope to feel better tomorrow so I can get back to work!
I just LOVE this view of the feathers!!!
This is Shirley's Star quilt.
Had a lot of fun custom quilting it. There is cross hatching, beadboard, and feathers!
8 thread colors and 28 bobbins used.
I did the center star a bit different so it would stand out.
Double 1/4 in outlined inside and then pebbles.
The strs were 1/4 in outlined inside and then swirls were quilted.
The back looked amazing!
Have a great week!
