Sheltered in

Hi All,

We have not been officially sheltered in but we are acting as if we are... in other words no change to our routine:) LOL! We usually stay home unless there is a Bee, lunch bunch, or other fun activity to do but since they have all been cancelled we just stay home!

I am afraid to go through any drive through for food because I am not sure of their cleaning practices after I saw a pharmacy putting the prescription into a window drawer to the car and then they sent it back and signed something. No gloves, no cleaning of credit card device.... so the next person could/would get the germs:( The gal working the window had no gloves on:( Not good!

So we did our usual grocery shopping on Thursday. We went to Aldi's and HEB. Got everything we needed except syrup... I need the sugar free:( Oh well will do without when it runs out! Probably will not go out this week as we have everything for 2 weeks:) YEA!

My son has announced we are going to be grandparents again:)  They already have the 2 girls. He is not working as many hours at the dealership but his wife has been doing 911 training and is full time! She told me a Dr came by and if any of them get sick they will go to a prepared isolation area and continue working just like the nurses are doing. They are struggling but will be ok with the parents/in laws help:)

Daughter and SIL have been working from home. His hours have been cut to 20 per week and he has been using vacation hours to fill in the rest but they won't last forever! However she has been working the full 40 hours and even has the hospital president and VP home phone #'s:) She had an interview with the same hospital... she has been interning for 2 years... and got officially hired so she is now a Future Data Analytics Specialist at OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus Ohio:) WHOOO!!! Of course she has not graduated yet and that may not take place but she is ok with that.

So we did get a bunch of quilting done this week:)

Brenda made this sweet baby quilt.

E2E quilting with white thread.
LOVE LOVE the backing fabric!!!!

PL from the Burnet Show box.

E2E and I did find yellow for the binding.

Another quilt from Brenda.

E2E quilting with Joseph's Coat thread from King Tut.
So bright and cheerful!

Backing fabric:)

Another one from the Burnet Show box. Was going to be a PL but I might get another Gdaughter so will hold on to it a bit:) Am also hanging on to the sailboat quilt in case it's a boy:)

E2E in a light pink... looks like clouds:)

And fun back!

Pl from the box:) E2E vine design with green thread.

The backing is from the stash.

PL from the leftover lure fabric I had used for a chemo quilt. and the backing is from the box.

E2E ripple design in  light teal thread.

Another PL from the box.

A triangle E2E design in a bright yellow! Had enough to use it on the front and back.

We also got another PL and a chemo quilted but I still need to bind them so you will see them next week.
I had a client bring in 4 quilts to be custom quilted so I will be busy for a few weeks!
Enjoy the week and stay well my friends!
